Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 20, 2025

President’s Day – February 17, 2025

Memorial Day – May 26, 2025

Independence Day – July 4, 2025 and July 5, 2025

Labor Day – September 1, 2025

Columbus Day – October 13, 2025

Veterans Day – November 11, 2025

Thanksgiving Day – November 27, 2025, and the day after Thanksgiving which is November 28, 2025

Christmas Eve – December 24, 2025

Christmas Day – December 25, 2025

New Year’s Eve – December 31, 2025

Winter Weather-Related Closings

The Geneseo Public Library will be closed when the Geneseo Schools are closed due to severe weather conditions. If the schools have a 2-hour delayed start, then we will have a 2-hour delayed start. If the schools are dismissed early due to the weather, then the library will close 2 hours after the Geneseo Schools early dismissal time.  If it is a Saturday and the weather service has issued a winter weather advisory, please call 944-6452 at the library before you venture out to see if we are open. Scheduled programs and meetings at the library will not be held if the library is closed.  We will also try to post closings to Channel 6 and Channel 8 news stations.
