Board of Trustees Meeting
July 10, 2017
The Board of Trustees of the Geneseo Public Library District met in Foundation Room A at the library on Monday, July 10, 2017. President Bill Menendez called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Board members in attendance were Christine Bergren, Lee Fluck, Tara Jimenez, Paul Pardo and Ray Rogers. Deb Wyffels, Assistant Director, was also present.
Citizen’s Input Joyce Webb gave her professional opinion on the property for sale by John Loucks.
Secretary’s Report The minutes from last month’s meeting stand approved as printed.
Financial Report/Bills to Be Paid. The Financial Report was reviewed and will be filed for the auditors. Lee made a motion to pay the bills, Paul seconded, and the board unanimously voted by roll call vote to pay them.
Library Director’s Report Please refer to Claire’s written report.
Property Appraisal Ray made a motion to table this issue until ownership has been established; Tara seconded the motion and all board members voted “yes.”
Tentative Budget Due to time constraints for our accountant, Paul moved to postpone reviewing the Tentative Budget, Tara seconded the motion and all present voted “yes.”
Seal Records Ray made a motion to seal the records from executive sessions and any audio tapes from them. Paul seconded the motion and it passed with all members present voting “yes.”
Adjournment With no further matters before the board, at 7:23 p.m., the meeting adjourned.
