Board of Trustees Meeting
June 13, 2016
The Board of Trustees of the Geneseo Public Library District met in Foundation Room B at the library on Monday, June 13, 2016. President Bill Menendez called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. Board members in attendance were Chris Bergren, Mary Farrell, Dave Johnson and Craig Patterson. Deb Wyffels, Assistant Director, was also present.
Citizen’s Input No citizens were present.
Secretary’s Report The minutes from last month’s meeting stand approved as printed.
Financial Report/Bills to be Paid The Financial Report was reviewed and will be filed for the auditors. Craig made a motion that the bills be paid; Chris seconded the motion and it passed by roll call vote, all members in attendance voted “yes.”

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Budget The Proposed 2016-17 Budget was reviewed and tabled until next month.
Technology Plan Claire reported that there are no technological needs at this time.
NEW BUSINESS
Yearly Evaluations Bill is working on Claire’s evaluation for next month. The staff evaluations have been done.
Prevailing Wage Ordinance Chris made a motion that the Board adopt the Prevailing Wage Ordinance. Craig seconded the motion and all members present voted “yes” by roll call.
Ordinance to Levy and Assess a Tax Craig made a motion to accept the Building and Maintenance Ordinance. Chris seconded the motion and all members present voted “yes” by roll call.
Outreach Restructuring Please refer to Claire’s report.
Copiers/Maintenance Claire and Deb will discuss how to proceed on the lease and/or rental of copiers.
Tentative Budget 2016-2017 Some of the Department Heads will be allowed to give their input regarding the allocation of funds in the new budget and those changes will be documented at next month’s meeting.
Adjournment – With no further matters before the board, at 7:43 p.m. Dave moved to adjourn, Mary seconded the motion, and the meeting was dismissed.
